Chuck Bosselman Memorial Scholarship

Purpose

The Chuck Bosselman Memorial Scholarship was first established in 2007 to offer scholarships to students who display excellence, strong citizenship, character, and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to society. The program was created based on the knowledge that a post high school education is one of the best investments an individual can make. Scholarships are offered to Bosselman Team Members and their dependents and seeks to encourage and enable motivated students to pursue educational opportunities.

Any Bosselman Team Member or their dependent(s) seeking additional education, non-degreed certificates, or traditional 2-year or 4-year collegiate programs may apply. Once per calendar year; current high school seniors or students currently attending a university or college, may receive up to $1,500 (2-year program) and $2,000 (4-year program) per semester towards tuition for the accredited school of their choice. Non-traditional educational opportunities may qualify including training, non-college degree (trade education), and certifications. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis, interested individuals may apply through the same application. A non-traditional application has no deadline and can be applied for at any point before the beginning of your course or certification. If your course or program begins in less than 30 days, please be aware that your application may not be awarded and all fees associated with your course will be your responsibility. If your course requires an additional payment for an exam, students are eligible for reimbursement upon successful completion of the exam.

Payments will be made directly to the college, university or institution providing the education or training. Recipients are chosen based on achievements, employment, quality of the personal statement, application completeness, recommendations, and need. In addition, traditional scholarships are renewable for the student’s second through fourth year of study provided they or their parent(s) are still employed with the Bosselman Enterprises and the recipient maintains a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 and remains in good standing with the educational institution. Non-traditional scholarships are not renewable.
