This will be followed by a presentation on the Elevate Grand Island program by Joseline Reina. Join us for an insightful virtual event hosted by the Women’s Resource Group in exploring the complexities of women’s identities in the workplace. The event features guest speaker Amy Bennett, Executive Director YWCA Grand Island.

This activity can be initiated and organized by each location or department manager on this day or at any time during DE&I Week. In this activity, Team Members can share their first name, middle name, last name, nickname, or any name with a history or story such as the name of a pet or nickname given to a friend or family member. They might consider the significance of the name, where the name comes from, or what particular meaning the name has for them.

Activity Goals:

• To help build community by having team members share a name that has particular significance for them.
• To give a sense of the variety of cultures, identities, and histories that team members bring with them to the workplace.
